Sony Xperia Z Review

Sony Mobile today introduced the new flagship Android smartphone, Xperia Z. Reality Display with Full HD 5 “to 1080p, quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, fast-capture camera to 13 megapixels and 4G technology LTE, Xperia Z has all the functionality of a flagship smartphone. In addition to all this, it combines the best of Sony technology, content, design and connectivity to provide a unique experience. Xperia Z will be launched globally in the first quarter (Q1) 2013.

The brilliant Xperia Z Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, brings deep expertise and consolidated in Sony TV directly on your smartphone and offers an intense visual experience with crisp, bright images. The smartphone has features common to those of Sony digital cameras and boasts the first sensor Exmor RS Mobile, the world’s first to shoot video in HDR (High Dynamic Range) directly via smartphones.

HDR technology allows you to create clear images offering better contrast even in backlight. Users can take photos and shoot movies beautiful in all lighting conditions. Xperia Z has the functionality Battery Stamina Mode, which enhances the durability of the standby time is up to four times, or even more, through the automatic shutdown of applications that consume battery when the screen is idle and restoring them when the display is again in function.

Sony multimedia applications offer the same entertainment experience on many Sony devices. Pre-loaded on Xperia Z, applications, “WALKMAN”, Album and Movies, allow you to discover content on-line and off-line from a single point of access with new ways to live and share the content itself. The “WALKMAN” allows access to all the music that you have downloaded and a library of over 18 million songs from Music Unlimited and explore through integration with Facebook. The application allows you to enjoy movies more than 100,000 movies and TV series through Video Unlimited, while the Albums application allows you to easily access your friends’ photos on Facebook as well as browse photos according to geographical location.

The One-Touch allows users to easily share music, photos and video from your smartphone to a range of NFC-enabled Sony devices, including speakers, headphones and now even TV. With the new BRAVIA TV, announced today by simply touching the phone with the TV remote control, you can immediately see their photos and videos on the big screen.
Two new NFC-enabled Sony products were presented, Stereo Bluetooth Headset and Wireless Headset DR-SBH20 BTN200M. It ‘simply touch with Xperia Z both headphones to listen to your favorite music instantly. Created with high quality materials, Xperia Z features a unique design OmniBalance with slightly rounded edges and smooth surfaces reflecting on all sides. Despite a thickness of only 7.9 mm, Xperia Z is very durable due to tempered glass front and back and to the highest levels of resistance to dust and water (IP55 and IP57) present in a top of the range smartphone.
